What I love about construction contracting was to discover an error of the architect since they are rarely wrong!
As a general contractor my mind is constantly rolling figuring things out and making things work. As a general contractor I had to have a mind to visualize the project before it was completed. If I wasn’t able to satisfactually think analytically and reason rationally because I am dealing with reality no doubt I would make so much error that I would land contractors anymore.
At pre-bid meetings when I present an error that would cause the architect to issue an addendum is a real good feeling.
Life is all about intelligence! Intelligence is analytical thinking and rational reasoning! And, your intelligence is not to be used against another man, but rather against the obstacles in creation to advance!
