African American Actors/Producers/Directors, Engineers, Writers and Land Owners to NOT WORK.....?

AND

Other American Actors/Producers/Directors/Engineers and Writers to WORK HARD AS Slaves...........?

Sister Demi, here in New Orleans they are in the process of issues casting call for extras (background actors) for the remake of of the "Roots" miniseries. Yes, it's a good thing to want this generation to become familiar with our history, but I want more untold stories about our history, not the same slave narratives.

If they want to keep talking about slavery, why not make a TV series about Harriet Tubman? Or those slaves who successfully escaped and became what is known as the Seminoles and eventually many would become Buffalo Soldiers?

I'm still waiting on a movie or miniseries about the Haitian Revolution. The ONE very successful slave resistance.

We cannot live on the past. We must consider our conditions today since they have not changed in hundreds of years and present some excellent solutions for the future, but how can this be done when all that you all do is regurgitate our past and eat it and regurgitate it again and eat it again and the cycle continues on.

Well, as Black America's first genuine prophet I am here to get us off of this silly merry-go-round that we rides on each generation after generation repeating the same things over and over and over again!
