JURNEE SMOLLETT BELL TALKS WGN's "UNDERGROUND" with TANISHA LAVERNE GRANT
Actress Jurnee Smollett Bell is a born master of her craft. With her "been here before" spirit it was easy for a casting director to drop her on a plantation in 1867 where she gets to inhabit "Rosalee" the beautiful house sservant who has the heart of a warrior ready to set herself and people free from the atrocities of slavery in a new series "UNDERGROUND" which premiers this week on WGN. At a private screening at THE SCHOMBURG CENTER FOR RESEARCH in New York City media correspondent and Cheyney University of Pennsylvania Alum Tanisha LaVerne Grant got a chance to chat with Jurnee about her new role!
