100 Cars!
Drivers on a North Carolina interstate where led to a chain reaction crash on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Sources said that at least 100 vehicles were involved in the pile up smash. The accident caused numerous injuries all said to be minor. The long crash stretched over 6 miles long. At least 20 people were hurt and or transported to the hospital. The accident occurred around 4:p.m. and took over 5 hours to clear the interstate for through traffic again. Cause of the accident is still undergoing investigations, and it was one of the worst accidents reported in Alamance County which is just east of Burlington, South Carolina. Many people involved gave their description of what happened to local and national news media.
