Mr. Farrakhan preached today at the Church I attended!
After church I had an opportunity to engage a couple of Muslims one on one! They listened. I explained how wrong Farrakhan is claiming to be a Muslims especially when I said that prophets are racially different that only an Arab man like Mohammed can be a Muslims.
Needless to says at a certain point in our conversation they got the message which led them to ask me the question who is our prophet. I told that I am our first genuine prophet and that our religion is named LIFE and it means resurrection.
In another conversation with this young Muslim wanting to sell me the Final Call newspaper I told him that Farrakhan doesn't know that prophets are racially different and that makes a lot of difference. The young man said to me that Min. Farrakhan does know that prophets are racially different! I said that if Farrakhan knew he never would have submitted his spirit to Islam since Farrakhan is not an Arab man. That shout him up and from then on I did all the talking and he did the listening.
The last Muslims I encountered was in steep denial. He could not take it when I said that all of you all are wrong to be Muslims and you all are not Arabians. He began to explain to me what Islam means. I interrupted him and said that the word ISLAM is Arabic and beyond that there is no explaining to me since I am a Black American just as you are and again ISLAM is an Arabic word. Therefore, it is not applicable to us. We parted in good spirit and that was good.
Rev. Mendez to greet the Muslims. I said to a Muslim to look at how filled the church with Black Americans both Christians and Muslims yet we are divided and a house divided against it self can not stand. The Muslims just looked at because he knew I was right.
Let me end by saying this, Farrakhan made some very good points and he always had from the first I met him in 1968, but he is still wrong to be following behind the Arab people.
