The people of Britain voted on Thursday, June 23, 2016 to leave the 28 nation European Union. This historic voting sent shock waves across the globe. Voters dedicated at leaving the EU turned out in record numbers to vote and to vote out the EU economic style which has been since the 20th century. The people of Britain were divided, as many want to remain even with the transition of the troubled banking system. Changes will soon take place and projection for ordinary people is hope to make Europe a nation trading together. As for the general view of the the international currency many economists would hurt the British economy. Voters in Scotland overwhelmingly opposed leaving the EU. Along with the banking system of the EU many who voted to leave it said the borders was far to open for many immigrants to enter its boarders.
Latest news indicated that following the win to leave the EU the Prime Minister has made an announcement that he will step down from his position by October 2016. Cameron a Conservative Party leader said it was time for "fresh leadership" The British pound dropped 10% in the international currency markets
