DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN MONDAY GAVEL TIMES
Gavel to Open Official Convention Proceedings
PHILADELPHIA –Today the Democratic National Convention Committee announced a revised gavel time for the first day of the 2016 Democratic National Convention. In order to accommodate delegate meetings, the Democratic National Convention will gavel in at 4pm Eastern time on Monday, July 25th at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The opening gavel will bring to order the official business of the Democratic National Convention. FIRST VOTES ARE EXPECTED AT APPROXIMATELY 4:30PM. The following is the gavel schedule for the week.
