EMPIRE ACTRESS TARAJI P. HENSON IS THE NEWEST FACE FOR MAC COSMETICS
One of our favorite HBCU Alums actress Taraji P. Henson will be lending her gorgeous face to MAC cosmetics. The Howard University graduate who portrays Cookie Lyons on the hit show Empire is teaming up with the major beauty brand to launch a six-piece collection that reflects her personal style. The collaboration features a matte beige lipstick ($17), a powder with a soft bronze coral and golden shimmer ($33), a "Rapidblack" eyeliner ($21), and a reddish brown "Taraji Glow" powder ($33), making it all the more easy to achieve Henson's red-carpet glow.
The Hidden Figures star's partnership is just the latest celebrity-focused collaboration for MAC. Previous collaborators have included Caitlyn Jenner, Ellie Goulding and Mariah Carey, to name a few. Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande have also worked with the beauty juggernaut on its Viva Glam collection.
The #MACTaraji range will drop online Sept. 6 and then in select MAC stores Sept. 8.
