Intelligence reflects reality. If you don’t understand reality you have no intelligence!
Why Black Americans are the most ignorant people in this country is because our analytical thinking and rational reasoning does not match reality. Reality reflects God’s creation and the more you know about God’s creation is the better educated, informed and intelligent of a people you are.
I stake the claim that the Europeans are much more intelligent than the native American Indians when these two races met.
The Native American Indians did not travel across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe because they did not have the intelligence. However, the Europeans traveled across the Atlantic Ocean to where the Native American Indians lived because the European developed the technology to do so!
Disease and viruses are a reality, but if you do not know how Ebola and smallpox works then you cannot defend yourself against these diseases and viruses. The Native American Indians did not know the reality of smallpox when the European gave them this disease. Neither, did the Africans know about Ebola when they contacted this disease.
So, what am I saying? I am saying that intelligence is very, very important and intelligence reflects reality and reality is the world that God created that we live in. God gave us a brain to defend ourselves from ourselves and the hazardous in creation.
