Monday Writing Tips: Consult with Julius on “Critique Groups.”

There are times an author needs honest critique. It seems after a while you are writing in a vacuum, and that is when you need some like-minded writers to give you honest critique. You don’t need put downs, nasty comments and jealous attitudes at your most vulnerable moments. Choosing a writers group is critical to your success as a writer.
Writing Tips: Visit different writers’ groups. The first time don’t take your manuscript, just observe and listen to comments and the treatment of readers/writers. If you feel comfortable, jump in with your manuscript at the next session. Please contact me on twitter: @consultwithjulius
