After Anis Amri caused the deaths and chaos in Berlin Christmas market on December 19, 2016 he took a train from France to Turin and took another train to Milan where he would meet in a conflict that caused his death. That awful night left many in a busy shopping market with deaths and horrible memories. The shooting happened at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in the west of German capital. At least 12 people were killed from the shootings and 49 were reported injured. Amri was a 24 year Tunisian who served a prison sentence in Italy after he was convicted of vandalism, threats and theft. in 2011. He applied for asylum in April 2016. After his release, he was rejected by the German authorities but was never deported because he had no valid identification papers. Amri was considered a suspect when investigations found documents of his in the cab of the lorry he used during the attack. Amri was seen in a video pleading for allegiance, but the video was released after he was killed in Milan.
