Your commentary seems disjointed. Star Trek was a product of the 1960s, clearly not physics, science, biology or eschatology. It was admittedly biased on its predictions of cultures and the human species. It is, after all, science FICTION, not fact.

After syndication, it's genius was as metaphor for the human condition. Specific episodes on alien characters like Spock, Data, Worf were backdrops for the question "what does it mean to be human?"

Even Roddenberry admitted he didn't mean warp drive to be taken as seriously as it has been.

Lastly, I'm probably the worst person to take to a Sci-Fi movie if you want to enjoy it in peace.

I know precisely where I'm blogging Mr. Powell. To not know would be a form of insanity.

Black In America: inspired by a CNN special hosted by its former anchor Soledad O'Brien as a forum for African Americans to meet, socialize and share thoughts. Mine happen to be about physics, science and its advocacy.

I assure you, I do not believe in a "flat earth" as there is no evidence of such a thing.

Racism is a power construct that belongs to the now majority of this country. My Melanin and life experiences disqualifies me from that social perch.
