Thomas Jefferson and George Washington must have felt waking up the next day after they had won the Revolutionary war against King George of England and now they were beginning of a new nation. How do you think Thomas Jefferson and George Washington must have felt they were no longer oppressed by the British Army all around them? I know they must have felt exceedingly majestic!
Well, how do you think you would feel to wake up the next day after we Black Americans are secured in a country of our own stretching from the northern borders of North Carolina into the Gulf of Mexico and from the middle of the Mississippi River into the Atlantic Ocean is our country and we are now a nation of people for the first time dependent on each other that we all survive and improve our lives and influence the world in the direction of caring rather than killing each other and destroy in other people’s country that White people has done. I guarantee you that you all will feel better because I guarantee again it’s going to happen. We are going to become a nation what better blessing could God have given us than our sovereignty in a country of our own.
