FBI agent Peter Strzok, who was intimately involved in the Hillary Clinton email investigation and the probe of Russian election-meddling, vowed to “stop” Donald Trump from reaching the White House in an August 2016 text message to FBI lawyer Lisa Page, the Washington Post reports.

“[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page wrote to Strzok in a text message set to be released Thursday as part of a Department of Justice inspector general’s report.

“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok, who was dating Page at the time, responded.

Oh Boy, look at MSNBC squirm.

Peter Strzok is a veteran counterintelligence agent who was assigned to both the investigation into Clinton’s personal email server and Muller's probe into possible collusion between Trump officials and Russians during the election. This man was rightfully FIRED from the Russia investigation after it was revealed that he exchanged anti-Trump text messages with Lisa Page, a senior FBI lawyer.

Lisa Page, who was A lawyer for the FBI, She was only temporarily on Mueller’s team. Page, who has "deep experience [in] money laundering and organized crime cases," was also rightfully fired from the investigation and then later Lisa Page resign from bureau.

In short, both of them was taken off the case once Mueller found up about what happen, which assured this investigation was fair and balanced.

This report is nothing new and just confirm the actions of Mueller.

This report is an confirmation of what have been reported by the news media.

Adam Fate Friday, June 15th 2018 at 11:26AM

It's not a confirmation because it was never reported before. I told you a long time ago Ron, that Peter Strzok would be your downfall.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, June 15th 2018 at 2:02PM

This was Braeking News when Peter Strzok was Fired and Lisa resigned over these matters. You do remember that don’t you?

August 8, 2016: In a text message on August 8, 2016, Page stated, “[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Strzok responded, “No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it.” 203 When asked about this text message, Strzok stated that he did not specifically recall sending it, but that he believed that it was intended to reassure Page that Trump would not be elected, not to suggest that he would do something to impact the investigation. Strzok told the OIG that he did not take any steps to try to affect the outcome of the presidential election, in either the Midyear investigation or the Russia investigation. Strzok stated that had he—or the FBI in general—actually wanted to prevent Trump from being elected, they would not have maintained the confidentiality of the investigation into alleged collusion between Russia and members of the Trump campaign in the months before the election. Page similarly stated that, although she could not speak to what Strzok meant by that text message, the FBI’s decision to keep the Russia investigation confidential before the election shows that they did not take steps to impact the outcome of the election.

That quote from August 8, 2016 sounds like confirmation to me?

Adam Fate Friday, June 15th 2018 at 3:17PM

That quote had never been seen by the media nor you Ron, before yesterday. I challenge you to prove otherwise.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, June 15th 2018 at 6:13PM

The event was reported that Mueller dropped Strzok from the investigation in July 2017 after the Department of Justice uncovered text messages between him and Page that were anti-Trump. Disgraced FBI agent had doubts about Mueller probe January 23, 2018 https://nypost.com/2018/01/23/disgraced-fb...

Notice the softening changes of words here. This is just more proof that these evens was reported in the news and this report is confirmation.

Adam Fate Friday, June 15th 2018 at 6:59PM

You haven't shown me anything about this text exchange from August 8, 2016. You can't and you never will.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Friday, June 15th 2018 at 7:48PM

Are these not the events in question?

Adam Fate Friday, June 15th 2018 at 9:22PM

No Ron, your referenced events are not in question. There's only one thing in question, and that's the text exchange on August 8, 2016 that is referenced on page 404 of the new DOJ IG report.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, June 16th 2018 at 1:37AM

Did you click on both of the links?

Adam Fate Saturday, June 16th 2018 at 1:59AM

No Ron, I looked at the dates on the links. Any report dated prior to 6/14/18 can't possibly contain the text exchange that's the subject of this blog.

Adam Fate Saturday, June 16th 2018 at 2:12AM

But if the May 19, 2017 text exchange is referenced in the IG's report I wouldn't mind knowing where, if you've got the page reference handy Ron.
