I would like to share this economic, analytical and rational thinking experience with you!
About 20 of us men and women at the YMCA I attend form a charitable organization. We hold meetings once a month. We pay dues and we find raise at times.
Our organization is about two years. I am now the president and everyone knows me at the Y as Christ Harry! Here is where it becomes interesting.
A few months after our organization began I would suggest that the almost $3000 in our account we take 2000 and invested in the stock market and at the time the stock market was 19,000+. The country is just coming out of the Obama administration and I would tell my friends let’s do this and we will triple our 3000. They would say no every time I made the suggestion. Now the stock market is at 26,000+ and at our last meeting I suggested again let’s put $2000 in the stock market. They all said no and my friend Willie Parker raised his voice with a big no, but that will not stop me at the next meeting!
I’ve concluded that it is easier to raise the dead than to make a blind man see!
What say you!
