Was Adam and Eve people of COLOR?
To find out, let us look at some scriptures. According to scripture, Christ was with the Father from the beginning, as stated in John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, and the Word was God. In case you did not know, the “Word” is another title of Christ.
We must also be mindful that the word “God” is just a title, it can imply a single person or a nation of people. For example we read in the book of Psalms 82:6 Ye are gods: and all of you are children of the Most High.
Now try to follow my train of thought. In Genesis 1:26 God was talking to Christ, in the beginning, when he said let us make man in our Image after our likeness. Now we know that the word image means a quality of being like or a resemblance of.
Now follow me closely, if Christ is described as a man of color in Revelations. 1:14-15 where is state, His head, and his hairs were white like wool as white as snow, and his eyes were as a flame of fire, And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace: and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Now, my question to you is... If brass is a light brownish color, and we had a piece, and burned it in a furnace. What color would you expect it to be, when taken out of the furnace? The answer should be a dark brown color, or even black.
So, with that thought in mind, here is the one million-dollar question. What would be the color of Adam and Eve, if they were created in the image and likeness of God? The answer should be a burnt brass color, the same color of God and Christ.
Now let us look at one more scripture. Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, & breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
So from this scripture you know and I, that dust of the ground is different shades of brown so that would make Adam and Eve people of color similar to burnt brass. I hope all this makes sense to you, if not leave me a comment.
