How I know I’m an Israelite.
Why, because as it is written in 1 Corinthians 2:14
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
Also remember, as it is written in Job 32:8
“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.”
This verse tells us understanding of scripture is not given by man but by God, not by the spirit of man, but by the Spirit of God. So now we know things of the spirit of God can not be understood by mans intelligence only.
With that said. We can now go forward. My first question to you is. Who was Moses talking to in the wilderness? Your answer should be the children of Israel. My second question to you is. What did the Lord say he would do to the children of Israel again, if they did not obey his commandments? You can find the answer to this question in Deuteronomy 28:68.
As it is written in Deuteronomy 28:68.
“And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again, with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen, and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.”
Now let us stop to breakdown this verse. The word Egypt means slavery or bondage. Again, with ships meaning, we walked into Egypt for the first time, but the second time, we would be sent into captivity again by way of ships, and that was during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. In other words, America is modern day Egypt.
Thou shalt see it no more again, meaning we would not see our homeland again, which was Jerusalem. And there we shall be sold unto your enemies, meaning our slave-masters. For bondmen and bondwomen, meaning men, woman, and children. And no man shall buy us, meaning no man shall be in a position to deliver us out of slavery, even though many have tried and failed.
I guess you are saying to yourself, how is this possible sense the prophecy written in Deuteronomy 28:68 was prophesied more than three thousand years ago, and besides you yourself haven't experienced slavery and do not know any more about slavery, other than what was taught in school.
The answer to this question can be found in the bible, but before we find the answer. The question you should ask yourself at this point is. How do you fit this prophecy? Like I said, the bible has the answer. And like I said from the beginning, you must believe the bible is the Word of God and if so, read on.
As it is written in Ecclesiastes 1:9
“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be: and that which is done, is that which shall be done; and there is no new thing under the sun.”
As it is written in Ecclesiastes 1:10
“Is there any thing, where of it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.”
As it is written in Ecclesiastes 1:11
“There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there bee any remembrance of things that are to come, with those that shall come after.”
As it is written in Ecclesiastes 3:15
“That which hath been, is now: and that which is to be, hath already been, and God requireth that which is past.”
What these verses tell us in simple English is that we all have been on earth before and that we are the spirits of our ancestors. Remember, as it is written there is a spirit in man and also keep in mind, the spirit in man does not die, it is the flesh that dies, but the spirit can regenerate new bodies, you might call this process, reincarnation or regeneration.
As it is written in Job 32:8
“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.”
As it is written in 2 Esdras 14: 35
“For after death shall the judgment come, when we shall live again: and then shall the names of the righteous be manifest, and the works of the ungodly shall be declared.”
This verse according to scripture confirms that our spirit lives again, or reincarnates in a new body. I guess you are saying to yourself. This still does not tell me “How I know I’m an Israelite.” And I’ll say true, I know it is not telling you that, but what it is doing is giving you a realization of yourself (your spirit).
And with that thought in mind, the answer should become clear, that we are all reincarnated spirits, but have no remembrance of former lives according to scripture. To keep it simple, in reality we are the same spirits that lived thousands of years ago, the only difference now is we are housed in a new body. Scripture confirms this.
As it is written in Ecclesiastes 1:11
“There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come, with those that shall come after.”
Now that we realize that we have lives multiple lives we can now move forward with that thought in mind.
As it is written in, Deuteronomy 28:68
“And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again, with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen, and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.”
This prophecy fits no other people on earth but the twelve lost tribes of Israel who was scattered throughout the earth by means of slave ships. The question put to you at this point is, were your fore-parents brought to the shores of North or South America in slave ships? If they were then most likely, you are an Israelite, from one of the twelve lost-found tribes of Israel. We are the same people our forefather.
Moses, was talking to in the wilderness over three-thousand years ago. One last question, what people in history do you know of discontinued from their heritage? The reason I ask is that the bible mentions this would happen to the Israelite's in multiple scriptures.
As it is written in, Jeremiah 17:4
“And thou, even thy self shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee, and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for euer.”
As it is written in, Deuteronomy 28:64
“And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth, even unto the other: and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.”
As it is written in, Nehemiah 1:8
“I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations.”
I sincerely hope this has helped you realize you are a special person to God, and with this knowledge you do what is expected of you.
As it is written in, Deuteronomy 14:2
“For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.”
As it is written in, Exodus 19:5
“Now therefore if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.”
As it is written in, Ecclesiastes 12:13
“Let vs hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”
