Was Apostle Paul a So-called White-man?
I guess you are saying to yourself, color doesn't matter... well, what I have to say about that is, when color is mentioned in the bible, color matters. For instance, suppose I told you so-called Jesus was a so-called. White-man, well that would be a big lie according to the bible.
As it is written, in Revelations 1:14-15. His head, and his hairs were white like wool as white as snow, and his eyes were as a flame of fire, And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace: and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Now, you may say to yourself, brass is a copper or yellowish color and if so, my question to you is…. What would happen, if that brass was burned in an oven? The answer should be, it would turn a very dark brown or even black. So color does matters in this case. To say that so-called Jesus is a white-man, would mean you worship a false Christ, when in fact the real Christ, is a so-called black-man according to the bible.
I know the topic is about Paul not Jesus, so let scripture prove Paul was also a man of color.
As it is written, in 1 Thessalonians 5:21. Prove all things: hold fast that which is good. So with that thought in mind, we will let God’s word prove itself.
Now read these verses carefully, because they give clues as to Paul's color. As it is written, in Acts 21:36. For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him. 37. And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain. May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek 38. Art not thou that Egyptian which before these days maddest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers? 39. But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: & I beseech thee suffer me to speak unto the people.
Now, in verse 38. The chief captain ask Paul, was he that Egyptian? Here is the point. In order for Paul to have been mistaken for an Egyptian, he must have had very dark skin, because the Egyptians were a very dark people at that time. See attached image.
Now, in verse 39. Paul confirms that Jews are black when he said. “I am a man which am a Jew.” Now we putting two and two together, these verses are saying Paul is a black Jew. Here is further proof, where prophet Jeremiah said the Jews are black.
As it is written, in Jeremiah. 14:2. Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish, they are black unto the ground, and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.
You know as well as I, that dirt of the ground comes in different shades of brown, the deeper you go the darker it gets. So what does all this prove? It proves Paul was black, a Jew, and an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin.
As it is written, in Romans 11:1. I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. For your information, during the slave trade the bulk of the tribe of Benjamin was shipped to the West Indies according to history.
So, that would mean the modern day West Indian Blacks would be direct descendants of the son Benjamin, one of twelve sons of Israel our forefather. So color does matter in determining the true descendants of the lost tribes of Israel.
God, in His Infinite knowledge, knew the heathen would white-wash our history and images, so He inspired the prophets in their writing to leave a few clues to indicate color in the bible.
As it is written, in 1 Maccabees 3:48. And laid open the book of the law, wherein the heathen had sought to paint the likeness of their images.
So I hope scripture has made it clear to you that Paul was in fact a man of color. I did not say black, because all the prophets were different shades of brown including dark brown. Last but not least, this is not about black and white, it’s about TRUTH. As a matter of fact, I had no problem with Jesus nor Paul being white-men, but that was until I read the bible, and found out the TRUTH.
