Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered opening remarks on global leadership and cooperation at a virtual event hosted by the World Economic Forum. His speech was during the first day of a week-long series, “Davos Agenda", which brought together world leaders and experts to discuss global challenges and the way forward in 2021. President Xi focused on multilateralism, restoring the global economy, the coronavirus pandemic, and climate change. He stressed the need for unity and collaboration, saying to "go it alone” and “slip into arrogant isolation” would always fail.
