Good Morning Steve. when I came to Black In America, I was pleased to see that you had posted the debate in Georgia. with U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) and challenger Herschel Walker. (R)

Thanks for this post Steve and if you don't mind, I will share this post with a few of my friends.

It was an interestinng debate. Warnock opened with the Biblical encouragement, "Be fruitful and multiply."

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, October 15th 2022 at 10:42AM

This debate had some very interesting and I might add funny moments too. Steve, what was the funniest moment in that debate for you?

Steve Williams Saturday, October 15th 2022 at 12:54PM

The one MSNBC loves to show, when the female moderator chided Walker for having a prop, She must have wasted at least 120 seconds Ron. Warnock was out of line for provoking Walker with his wisecrack about, at least he had never impersonated a police officer. Is he that insensitive to a person who had multiple personality disorder? So much for pastoral empathy, that just went out the window.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, October 15th 2022 at 6:44PM

This should be prime evidence that Walker is still suffering from that very same multiple personality disorder he suffered in the past. Steve, as you could see, Walker is still impersonating the police and that is what Warnock did, to trick that weak-minded Walker into action making a fool of himself with that FAKE BADGE in public for all to see.

Now the bad part of Walker's actions was, that man would not shut up! that action right there is showing the people of Georgia his personality.

Steve Williams Saturday, October 15th 2022 at 7:14PM

Wrong again Ron. Walker was not impersonating a police officer, and he wouldn't shut up because he had the right to defend himself against the preacher's lies. If the moderater had shut up, she and you would have heard Walker say that HE WORKED WITH the police, and the badge was one given to him by one of the Sheriffs Departments he had worked with.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Saturday, October 15th 2022 at 8:10PM

But we never heard anything like that because that man Herschel Walker used what the rules of the debate called a "PROP" and he knew he was in the wrong but yet he kept talking trying to support his rule-breaking actions. Do you see how easily Walker was baited into a trap?

The people of Georgia also notice too!

Steve Williams Sunday, October 16th 2022 at 7:13AM

It wasn't a prop Ron, it was real. He carries it all the time.

Dea. Ron Gray Sr. Sunday, October 16th 2022 at 10:05AM

Steve, the things we do for The Orange Jesus. You saw and heard what Herschel Walker did on stage, he pulled a FAKE badge to use it as a prop to show the people how sick this man really is. He was bated into that action and Herschel Walker walked right into it.

Walker has never had a job in law enforcement. He has publicized a card showing that he was at some point after 2004 named an “honorary agent” and “special deputy sheriff” in Cobb County, Georgia, titles that do not confer arrest authority.

Fact check: Herschel Walker’s false and misleading recent claims https://edition.cnn.com/2022/10/11/politic...

July 12, 2022

ATLANTA – Today, Herschel Walker received an endorsement from former Cobb County Sheriff Neil Warren whose office worked with Herschel for years.

“Herschel Walker partnered with the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office for over 15 years while I was sheriff,” said retired Sheriff Neil Warren. “He led trainings on leadership, advocated for mental health, encouraged countless officers, and was always there to lend a hand whenever we needed him. I was proud to name him as an honorary deputy sheriff due to his tireless efforts in support of law enforcement. Now more than ever, officers across Georgia need a senator who will have their backs, no matter what. The men and women in law enforcement put their lives on the line every day to serve our citizens, but time and time again, Senator Warnock has continued to let us down.”

Hey Steve, did you know If you are not a trained police officer, you (of course) cannot arrest people? Now the question should be, is Herschel Walker a trained police officer?

Walker, who has never been a trained law-enforcement officer yet has attracted law-enforcement endorsements in this race, pulled out what appeared to be a police badge, prompting a rebuke from moderators who reminded him of debate rules forbidding props.

Herschel Walker is still a very sick mind, did you know that Steve?

Steve Williams Monday, October 17th 2022 at 1:43AM

At least he's not a very fake pastor Ron.

I am not big on Preacher(not deaCON) warnock

..BUT..Herschell Walker..destroyed Dallas Cowboy Greatness, pushed up against the Great Tony Dorsett AND

as chronicled by the following Minnesota Writer...

The Life and Career of Herschel Walker

By Ben Donahue @DonahueSports

Contrary to popular belief, high school football stars do not always make it to the NFL.

..prep heroes end up as afterthoughts in college or are swallowed by the competition in the pros.

He then spent 15 years in two different professional football leagues.

This is the story of Herschel Walker.

He would end his prep football career with 6,137 total yards and 86 touchdowns.

Additionally, Walker was gifted in the classroom and was selected as an Athlete-Scholar delegate by the American Academy of Achievement after his senior year.

Despite gaining 238 yards on 37 carries, Walker and the Bulldogs were down by one with less than a minute left.

On third and ten at their own seven-yard line, Georgia quarterback Buck Belue found an open Lindsay Scott for a jaw dropping 93-yard catch and run for the game winning score.

The game would later be called the “Miracle on Duval Street.”

Walker Leaves Georgia and Lands in the USFL

The only problem was, the NFL did not allow underclassmen to declare for the draft.

Only too eager for the young back’s services,

New Jersey Generals owner Donald Trump opened the vault to get Walker.

..to maneuver around the league’s $1.8 million salary cap, Trump had Walker sign a personal services contract.

Trump led an attempt to move the USFL from a spring to a fall league and force a merger with the NFL.

The move failed and the USFL shuttered soon after.

Walker Becomes a Cowboy

In 1985, Dallas ended the regular season with a 10-6 record and lost to the LA Rams in the Divisional playoffs.

However, from the start, tension between Tony Dorsett and Walker was evident.

Not only was Walker making more money than Dorsett, but he was also taking away carries from his counterpart.

Unfortunately, the Cowboys did not improve in the win column and finished the season 7-9.

The strain between Dorsett and Walker only got worse in 1987.

While the Cowboys finished 7-8 in the strike-shortened season...

After the season concluded, Dorsett wanted out and was traded to the Denver Broncos.

In 1988, Dallas only got worse and limped to a 3-13 record.

Trade to the MINNESOTA Vikings

..Jimmy Johnson had taken over for Landry, but the team began the year with five straight losses.

Seeing the writing on the wall, and hoping to turn around the fortunes of the team,

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones traded Walker to Minnesota after Week 5.

In return, Dallas received five Vikings players and six future draft picks.

Walker would continue leading Minnesota in rushing and end his season with 669 yards and five touchdowns.

The Vikings would end the season with a 10-6 record and faced the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional round.

Minnesota’s vision of Walker being the missing piece to the Promised Land failed to materialize as the

Niners crushed the Vikings 41-13.

Walker Fails to Deliver for Minnesota

The Walker Plan didn’t improve in 1990.

The Vikings fell to 6-10

By the end of the ‘91 season, the Vikings fan base was NOT happy.

It was clear to the NFL world that the Cowboys had gotten the better end of the Walker trade.

Don't KNOW much about Georgia, but if Walker does for Georgia,

what he did to the Cowboys and the Viking....NOT GOOD..
