iCOPE of NYC (the independent Commission on Public Education of NYC)
wants the world to know (OUR COMMUNITY TO KNOW) that Mayoral Control (where the Mayor controls the money AND the decision making without community oversight) IS NOT how our Public School System should be run.
The NY State Law that created this injustice will SUNSET in June 2009 (ONLY) IF we let the legislators KNOW the real deal and if we stay strong and push for this together.
