Required Action Initiative Stopping Sagging Pants EffortTarget: A national standard of decency petainining to sagging pants in AmericaSponsored by: Pastor Patrick Parker FIRE Ministries of DeSoto, TexasThere are laws and sub-laws that govern every segment of American society, from the upper echelons of the federal government ,through the control of pan-handling and the homeless initiative. We as a body of believers, and people who perceive the challenge have inherently failed to transpond that crucial but delicate message of ethics and responsibility to those whom are most often victimized and subjected to the degradation of such blatant inefficacies as providing a nationwide standard of relating to youth who choose to participate in the sub-culture phenomena of wearing sagging pants and the malefacting manufacturers who in-turn propagate the continuation of this behavior (now sub-culture) which has permeated the very fabric of our society. The true crime is that there has not been some concerted or valid attempt of the established government to curtail, effectively deter, or eradicate this negative mentality which has evidently transcended racial, and cultural social barriers. The residual affect is immeasurable, the stereo-types, cultural de-valution of various groups and members of our future generations, who receive no sense of responsibility to adhere to the law or any societal norms. The apathy of numerous religious, community and other social groups to effectively place demands on the government whom we,ve elected to acknowledge that there is a conscious effort to eliminate a vital portion of our society by ignoring and promoting utter and blatant disregard for societal norms (which promotes criminal and other negative values and behavioral stigma). In essence the ensuing behavior is causing a declination of self-esteem, respect, and antipathy towards themselves and others.
Therefore, I have been so moved to solicit the immediate move to action to petition the Congress of the United States to hear the voice of the people of the United States of America and expeditiously address this concern with an effective remedy at the request of the 1,000,000 signatures submitted this day.

Please return to this site upon the effective receipt of each 1000 sinatures
Please send and forward this to every pastor, evangelist, apostle, minister and concerned parent in the the country.

I pray you will take on the burden and responsibility for the effectieveness of dispersion to at least the next 100 people that you know.

Sagging pants? You believe that making it illegal will stop it? Are you forgetting that these are indiviuals who have no respect for the law anyway? And now you're going to try and control how they wear their pants?

Here's a solution to sagging pants: Keep our youth out of jail( since that is supposedly where the trend derived from). How do we keep them out of jail? Instill in them values and self respect. How do we do that? Take care of what you bring into this world and RAISE YOUR KIDS. Problem solved(along with a lot of other problems as well).

It is not the government's job to make sure your kid isn't out there dressed indecently. IT"S YOURS. It is not the rappers'and actors' jobs to raise your kids. IT"S YOURS. Stop looking for quick solutions and get involved with these kids instead of just prosecuting them.

As nasty and dis-tasteful as that is, its not going to stop. You can take alot of things from people.. but you can barely help or control how others dress in PUBLIC.. now, in private settings.. they may.

The idea is not to control through the government, the idea is to make a level of accountability for everyone to police what we allow to be the norms of society, to whom much is given (FREEDOM) muchis required (responsibility) to our children to our heritage and to our future. Please get out of mind this is a control mechanism, the law is a form of control , but absent some form of control is total anarchistic- behavior. What's next total ****** in public as form of expression?, somebody better start praying!!!

Do me a favor, if you would sign the petition in red (to get the link) and help ensure your children will know that you contributed to them having a future that has the potential to alter their courses for the future, just be accountable to helping someone who don't understand that their futures and the coming generations are at stake!

Patrick, are you forgetting that God never intended for people to wear clothes in the first place? For you to go to the extreme like that does not in any way support such government control over a person's attire. It is not right to ask the government to intervene every time we disagree with how someone is dressing. If you don't like it, then raise your kids to view it as indecent and hope they abide by it. Otherwise your power stops there.

GOD also instructs us to obey the laws of the land, and last time I checked deceny was still part of that law again, you're getting into semantics and this is where everything gets clouded We're not asking for the government to change or police the way we decide to dress.... We're asking for a standard to established where its illegal to express the demoralizing image of young people who may not know that they are being exploited in the name of Capitalism and freedom of speech, and fashion, and "style" .Because somebody is behind propagating the idea that its alright to exploit youth even if the tactic is as subtle as a trend, The Devil doesn't care what he uses to cause rebellion ie "the fruit". This time its just "fruit of the looms" (lol) Same trick different method. Ironically, Adam and Eve covered themselves, the youth today are exposing themselves. " Be not deceived GOD is not mocked" Gal6:7 That first statement you made is not true, its was simply that man didn't have any need to be covered because he was already revealed before GOD, clothing is symbolic of our sinful nature, Man I appreciate you tenacity but you really need to investigate the scriptures just for your own edification. I host a bible study I 'd love for you to join . We hold it every Wed @ 9pm CT 1 641-715-3840
pin access 177474# Thanks again for responding, its a pleasure to hear someone who don't mind sharing their thoughts. But I want you to understand and if you have a chance read this scripture Gen. 3:15 hopefully you will understand that its about spiritual warfare moreso than our fleshly freedoms.
