I am not sure how we can not include religion in this discussion because it is the driving force in our decision-making. Even the non-religious is driven by his beliefs. If Christian, etc and myself a Hebrew, if we are true believers in what we practice then we must not be of the others world. My text teaches that one can be in the world and not off the world. My relatives snub me because of my beliefs of the Torah and Yahweh, my god but I live the life I believe. Even the Devil has a belief and practice that which they believe. Gays, liars and those whom destroy gods creation are my enemies.

Another comment on this matter is that I am not a judger of other because what they do will ultimate turn good or destroy them.

Some let society dictate their thinking and if the majority agrees, then they dont want to be the on who rocks the boat. I dont have a problem with gay or lesbian people, I feel it's an individual decision and they are responsible for their standing in judgement when that time comes. There are so many more serious things to think of in our society that REALLY affect us all and people being gay is not one of them.

Sin is sin regardless and each person has and continues to participate in some activity that is sinful. The homos*xuality is not the sin itself it is the s*xual activity associated with the relationship that is the sin. Therefore the person should not be condemned for who they are. They like many of the people posting comments on the board, including myslef will have to answer for our actions. If God says come as you are to him, does anyone really believe that God does not already know what is taking place.

As is says judgement no lest thee be judged.

Worng is wrong is wrong is .... you get the point.. wife beaters, drunks and (call it what it is) PLEDOPHILLIC behaviour is not a lesser sin than being gay. As a matter of fact, accepting these behaviours only deepenn the fractures in the already fragile family structier that seems to prevail in the Community as a whole. Women don't want to grow up and marry men that mpdelled behaviour like... wife beating, aolcoholism and women DEFINITELY are going to have serious issues having legitimate, honest adult s*xual relations after being raped and sodomized by...SOMEONE WHO CLAIMS TO LOVE THEM! (uh, hello?) and we wonder why men and women in the Commuity arent working together! Deep in our psyches we are afraid of ourselfs and each other after having been forced to accept the abnormal as normal !

Personally I don't and never experienced dealing with homos*xuality until I was married. My EX Wife (GOD I LOVE SAYING THAT) had a gay uncle that died of AIDS. Personally at first I didn't even want him touching my kids! I for one have never accepted nor understood homos*xuality. It is shunned in the bible and for me and how I grew up this was something that wasn't tolerated. The bible says Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve and how any man prefers laying up next to another hairy leg man is sick, IMHO. Personally my feelings are this, when I hear homos*xuals hollering for equal rights, I say 25% off of vaseline and now get back in the closet. What you do behind closed doors is your business! But don't flaunt it in public! I know many won't like my views but they are mine non the less and again personally speaking homos*xuality is a sickness. Same s*x marriages and all that is sick and simply should not be entertained. That is part of the problem in America today, most of the problems still aren't fixed but yet America constantly wants to take on more and more when it can't handle the issues facing us today. Gay marriages often in the news! Famous people coming out and all that are simply signs that the end of times are growing nearer and nearer and I for one would love the chance to see Jesus judging the homos*xuals I then would then like to ask them how do you now feel knowing you will never know paradise. Remember getting to heaven is pretty simple there is the Bible that instructs us on how to get there! Remember people BIBLE stands for Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth.

Hello All. This a very important topic, that should be discussed and hit pretty hard. I'd first like to say, as Jones stated above, that wrong is wrong, and there is not getting around it. True enough, homos*xuals are more exploited than child molesters , domestic abusers, etc. But that does not give anyone room to say that one is better or worse than the other. Note...my tone is this post will be of a Christ like character, so if anyone is offended or doesn't agree, then so be it. But I will not try and make sense out of this without using Christ to support my comments.
"Hate" is a strong word; But when I think of homos*xuals, or molesters, or people who are stung out on drugs, or whatever the case may be, I make it known that I don't "hate" that inidividual as a person, but I do hate that individual's lifestyle. There is a difference. God does not hate that individual as a person, He loves us all, but He does hate that individuals lifestyle. You must understand that behind everything there is a spirit; I know because my church did a whole study on this, and the Bible clearly states that we are mind, body, and soul. Homos*xuality is a demonic spirit that has manifested in an individuals life; the same with a child molester, its a demonic spirit. Some people like to argue that "oh he was born that way" the devil is a lie! God did not create us with the desire to lust after someone of the same s*x. His purpose for male and female was to come together and reproduce and make the land fruitful. It was the perfect plan. And if one were to ask or make the comment I was born that way, then are people just born murderers? are just born child molesters? are they just born abusers? No. The first sin was in fact a murder, but do you know why Cain chose to kill Abel? Do you know what triggered that action? Check out Genesis 4:1-8; There is something called jealousy, or covetousness, which is a sin. Because of Cain's jealously towards his brother, and because of his deadly envy, he was driven to kill his brother. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah were slain because of their sins, and among those was homos*xuality, adulterers, idolaters and more.
No, we should not treat our loved ones and those that we dont even know, any differently. But NO, we do not have to accept that person's lifestyle. This is a whole other subject, but food for thought and maybe a blog discussion, some of us wonder why the Church is out of wack and why things are so crazy. Look at it, we have homos*xual ministers of music. We have pastors that are adulterers, we have leaders in the church that have filthy lifestyles. What do you expect? If we are supposed to be the light or let our light so shine but whenever the world looks at us, we look just like them...how are we supposed to set a standard? That is why the Bible says that our salvation is a daily process, Luke 9:22-24 ("take up your cross daily"). As far as I am concerned, its all about the Kingdom. If you want to sit around accept any and everything, then so be it. But their blood will be on your hands...if you dont stand up for what you know is right, and just let stuff slide, then you are help accountable for that person unto God. You dont have to hate any one, but neither should you or do you have to accept sin. Rather love that individuals enough to pray for them, or speak into their lives. When you dont say anything you are condoning it, and saying "its okay" when its not. Dont be deceived, for God is not mocked, what you so is what you will reap (check it out Galatians 6:6-8). If you dont reap on earth, you will reap at the Judgment. Truth is truth people, its right in your face, you should be able to see or detect when something just isnt right. Sin is sin, no matter what form.

I think we selectively "hate" in many areas, not just s*xual preferences. We do the same thing with shades of skin, language, education, attitudes, (anyone ever call you boogie?), and many other things. We are raised with certain attitudes and some we pick up and some are just who we are. Some think about what they want to be and attempt to change and others remain as they are. Sometimes it may be cultural. I have noticed that in many "territories" in black communities, the hating becomes geographical. West v. East, etc. We just don't think through our attitudes and we need to encourage self-examination and the possibility or need for personal change and growth. The words unity and acceptance do not mean the same thing to everyone. All of us are not on the same page in our lives and not likely to be on the same page with a great number of others.
