I just completed a big project. It was to conduct an online Presidential Mock Election for the youth that I volunteer with. (I'm in the black jacket. A much more recent photo than the one posted on my profile) These are highschoolers through college. This was a teaching opportunity. It helped those 18+ get registered, and it gave the younger ones an excercise in the process. Over 800 voted on the website, I manage for this group. 91% elected Obama. Do you think black youth will turn out to vote? Don't you think we need to show our young the seriousness of voting? Tell me what you think.

...the first in my time was John Kennedy. And, to tell the truth it is pretty ironic. America was afraid to vote for Kennedy because they feared his head minister- the Pope. It is too bad that FNC will never be able to admit how it was the Black bloc vote that got President Kennedy that title in the first place. More of Dr. Kings' "I have an Dream" and (my) revenge on CNN's Black in America's unemployed Black male series.

Thanks and lov and may God bless you for what you are doing. I say this because my oldest grandchild will be doing two things this year(her 18 th). She will be in her first year of college and she will be voting for the first time. Now Obama, meke my grand child be able to tell her grandchildren how she helped elect a FIRST president in these United States as her own grand mother was able to say to her.
But, I will join in with so many other people of nonWhite skin color,in saying how I never, ever, ever thought I would see a presidentual campaign as this one during this life!!!
This is my American Dream and Black in America all at once.
