What surprises me is that we seam to be surprised at this behavior. You know that at their core some of white America in scared to death that if a black man get’s in office, the first thing that will happen is that they will loose all of those privileges that they have enjoyed all these years. And even best case scenario is that we will gain some of those privileges, and they will have to look at us on a different level. I say that they are behaving as normal as possible in their position. We are not behaving appropriately. Our community is in constant danger from out side (them) and within (us). Let them pray for rain (oh yeah, and you know that not what they are praying for) we’ll bring umbrellas
Excellent points, Johnny. Thanks. "we'll bring umbrellas"...love that!
I got you, Isaac. I understand and I feel the same as you. Before I use a race card, you can bet I do my homework. But whether it's because of race or just plain politics...the double standard is so familiar. McCain is safe. But if a well know black minister were to do the same thing, there would be outrage and the media and McCain's group would swear the minister was Obama's weapon, or his cousin or his buddy, his landlord, or connected some way! Listen politics is a dirty business and the contest is tough. But, you'll have to admit, this is not fair play. We need a ref to blow the whistle and call a foul. That's the aspect that's important. It IS about race when there are double standards.

The question is, though, Isaac, should Christians be praying for rain for this reason? And if Creflo Dollar was calling his flock and other black Christians to pray for rain during the September Republican Convention, would he be critized, and Obama, too, by default?
