I just want to throw out there how it is my hope that Oprah introduce Obama tonight. And, do you believe Oprah doing the introduction would be a plus or a minus for him as they both use to belong to Trinity?

Freedom of religion in America.....No I do not believe we are going to have this as an issue again any time soon.

Just your who do you believe will be the best person to introduce Obama tonight is all I ask. Thanks for your thoughts on the historical day of BLACK IN AMERICA

Oprah would probably be good. Or Maxine Waters...I'd like to see her. That lady's got some fire. I dig her.

It depends, if he wants whites to feel comfortable (because you know its all about persception), he needs to pick someone that looks like them. And not to mention some Blacks, who might feel that Oprah and Obama on the stage together is too much color (you know "self-hate" type stuff). So I suggest somebody like Hillary Clinton. Since Republicans, all of a sudden have a crush on her, and some Blacks who are willing, to look like fools on national TV (with all that crying and carrying on) should be the one. It will soothe the hatred that these people have for a Black man who is about to accomplish something incredible. Kill two birds with one stone. :) Hillary would love another chance on stage. Because Kerry, Kennedy, Biden, Bill Clinton all out shined her. She needs another shot to redeem herself.

But I would choose Cynthia McKinley from Georgia. I thinks she's from there. From all I know of her, she "keeps it real."

Dam, all the money she has, is it really a risk. :) She can buy new fans. I thought there was talk, a couple of years ago, that she was ready to give up her show anyway. What would be a better way to send the show off.

Yes, Obama has white support, but the question is, does he have enough?

Oprah wouldn't lose half her fan base for supporting Obama. The proof's in the pudding. She had him on her show, publicly endorsed him and didn't lose a thing.

Someone just said to me how it would be nice for his daughter introduce Obama. I think this would be nice, but even this could be turned against him. I now do not believe Oprah would be a good choice any more.

Thanks Dee, I had forgotten about Maxine Waters and I am in California, so thanks for this eye opener.
