Despite the interruption by Tropical Storm Fay, it is reported that 28,391 fathers or father figures were at Broward County Schools on the first day. This is a reported increase of 300-400 fathers from last year. A special thanks to School Board member Ben Williams and the committee that worked so diligently on this project.
