The weather is sunny and bright skies awaits this day's event. THE COOPER YOUNG CELEBRATES HISTORIC DISTRICT WITH  21 YEARS! The Cooper-Young historic district is located in Midtown Memphis. This neighborhood does it's annual celebration yearly. The Midtown district is known for it's businesses and great resturants, with outdoor dining. GIVE ME THE BALL! But I may not be able to go very far! Football fans from all over the city and those who come from afar will be celebrating the Southern Heritage Classic! Dates of the functions will be September 11-13, 2008 All ages young and old will be cheering and having a ball! This is a historically black college and Memphis is flattered to see them here in our town. What a lively event.
