Amen. I have said for years that black people, especially, need to turn off the television for at least 3 years, just to begin to have their own thoughts. We have been hoodwinked! This actually applies to all people, but we must save ourselves. Even the stuff that sounds "good" needs to be taken with a grain of salt. It's about taking your minds and thoughts back and what will follow is that we can then be free. As the Funkadelics said, "Free your mind and your ass will follow!"
