EMAIL RUMOR ABOUT WEARING OBAMA GEAR TO THE VOTING POLLS ON ELECTION DAY

This info is erroneous. I just talked to Fayette County Clerk’s Office about the issue of wearing party affiliates gear to the polls. The answer given to me was that people can wear any party affiliate gear to the polls as long as they do not start talking politics while in the lines or to the poll workers. They will be" Allowed To Vote" but must leave immediately after casting their vote. Now if you are working the polls that day as an election officer you can’t wear any party affiliation gear. If you have a questions about voting or to check an email rumor concerning voting, you should call your local county clerk office immediately and get the answers directly from them. You can also check out this site: http://www.866ourvote.org/ about laws in your state concerning voting rules. Let's not believe everything we read in an email, but check out the facts for ourselves first before spreading rumors.

I am a poll worker in Ohio and you will be removed from the polling place if you are wearing political gear. I agree with Dorothy, just don't do it.
