DRESSED UP, COMFORTABLE, COSTUME, SLOPPY--WHAT'S YOUR STYLE?

I'm in one of my chatting spells. I have days like that. Women are often comparied to cats who have nine lives, well some of us have nine moods and then 10 plus moods and more! For some crazy reason, whatever....I'm having thoughts of clothing and of "dressing moods"

I have days where I am considered by others most poised. I have on one of my best pieces of clothings. I either wear a nice suit, dress or pants with blouse. I like the business look, but not all the time. It seems that my body has body dress moods. Have you experienced days like that? My preference is comfort. Even when I dress up, I LOOK to most of all be in comfortable dressing. I am not much for hair-styles, even though I really admire women, and or men who go those extra miles to pamper themselves. Some of those hairstyles...well I won't say too much on that. I seem to have a limit, and use simple basic needs of pampering. I just care for good personal hygiene.

Appearances in costume is my speciality. I may wear costume from India to Asia. I love accessories too. They can just make or break an outfit. I play with colors to get the effect I like to define. Have you spent all your life in wearing black? I admit I know a few women and men who only wear black everyday! Everything is black! I love black, but I add a splash of color to give it a spark! It works well with me. Well, I warned you I was in one of moods.

Sloppy? This dress style is defined by an individual. I consider sloppy something I wear around the house. But, I have seen women wear their lounge dresses and dusters to shopping places. Once, and if this fits you, I'm not saying it's bad; I saw a young lady between 24 to 29 wearing high tall Go-Go boots and very short pants in a grocery store. It looked to me as she was going to the club! I thought that was defined as sloppy. Like I stated, each person has their own ideas of sloppy. Clothing can fit your personality as well and they also send possible messages of what you are inside. It's not always true, only about 70% in my calculation. I think most men like mystic. I like to keep a few secrets when I dress. If you show all you got, you leave little to guess about. Nothing left to imagination--at least that's what a few men have told me.

Guys are different in dressing, none if any of the men I know like pink shirts. They tend to stick to brown, many shades of blues, some shades greens or grays and of course black is elite. I know for a fact, most older guys hates the saggin jeans or pants. It's the younger generation that's more prone to do that. Personally I dislike it, but if they have on a belt it's a little better.

My mood is leaving me now. I'm drifting off to other spots in my moods swings. It's been quite a write up. I haven't given any advice just exhaling a mood. I'll end this with a question: Share if you want, but what's your style?

Elastic pants are a must durring Thanksgiving and Christmas! I always bring them with me in my purse, so I can look nice coming in, but not uncomfortable leaving. Most times I just wear jeans and a t-shirt, cuz that's all I have shoes for. Ihave nice dresses, but the Keds I wear with them, may say something else besides beautiful. Thanx for the exhale moment, I really needed it. BTW which do you like best on a man? Solids, stripes? Vertical or horizontal? Dressed to the hilt, or casual? Just curious. My husband will not wear a suit and tie to save his life! I had to draw him wearing one, just to know what he'd look like.

Lesley, what I like best on a man? Well, I think I like most is not necessary what he's wearing, but that he's a neat dresser. I like to see him in a T shirt and jeans, and I like the look of a white button up shirt, the ones without the collars. I also like to see them in good looking suits. I like the solid color suits better, gray, black, blue, browns and depending on how the suit is made some types of small stripes. Sporting clothing is open, as long as they aren't too tight fitting. Most of all I love the neat and clean look...Yeah!

Marta, you like to dress like that too! I don't see many who women dress like this in or around Memphis, most of the time, they tell me it's not for them, but they tell me: "It looks good on you" Then , they ask me you're not from Memphis are you? ...I Smile
