I arrived here
with diversity in my blood.
With a universal love,
for all people.

I am Barack Obama.

I am a thinker
A provider
A traveler
A community activist
A storyteller
A writer of intellectual letters
A father
A figure
A brilliant man, with a plan.

I am Barack Obama.

I am a healer
A revealer
A humanist
A Christian
I love
I laugh
I listen
I am prepared
for America's top position.

I am Barack Obama.

My daughter's Sun in the morning
My father's reflection
My mother's blessing
My forefather's dream
The reincarnation of
Frederick Douglas and Martin Luther King.

I am Barack Obama.

I am you, you are me.
Together, we will make history.

I am human, I am humble.
I am not perfect, at times I will stumble.

But I am loving, I am concerned.
I have this feeling, that it is my turn.
