I Don't Know About You?...., but Early Voting Makes Me Nervous
Thursday, a group of women and men I know, took time out to go to the early voting polls. They beckoned me to attend with them, but I refused to go with the group! No, it wasn't because I didn't want to vote, I do and I will. I chose however, not to go with them. I realize the importance of voting and how such a priviledge it is to vote freely. I will vote, but I elected to wait. Early voting makes me "uneasy". I have become this way because of the last presidential election when as you might recall down in Florida so many early voting ballots were not accounted for and not considered! They were tossed out, many lost or maybe they were mishandled. I don't want to take a chance with that happening again? I'm just being careful --if you will in my own opinionated way. I know many have already decided to vote early, and have already done so. I will wait though-- and vote on election day. I want to share it with my son, who is voting for his first time as a memorable moment and I am glad it's in a presidential election. I don't know about you?...but early voting makes me nervous. What about you? Do you think it's really safe to vote early in the upcoming election? It occurred to me too, that the "factor of voting" overwhelms many who do not vote at all. Not just early voting, "the whole concept of voting" They simply may be frightened of the whole idea of voting. They might have the disbelief that their voting will not matter, or that it's already fixed in the polictical arena. Who can really tell if there is honesty in counting votes? We can only suppose it is a honest process and that the outcome will be handled in trust and truth. Still, I hope undecided voters will vote, and those who feel overtaken by the process, make a change to do it anyway...

Thanks Clarence! I will cast my vote. I really didn't understand what happened in Florida, you've cleared that up for me as well.
