About 40 years ago Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcom X posed very clear answers to the question Ballot or Bullet. We are now on the verge of having the first President of the United States of America who acknowledges having Black blood. This is why regardless of your political stance if you are voting and you are Black your vote Should go to Barack Obama.

Why, because the vote for Obama puts another nail in the coffin of the self loathing we as Blacks have experienced. This isn't about America. It's about how we as Blacks relate to the world. The most important things is that we build more economic ties. This allows us to have more option.

Let's get moving forward together find out more about the REAP

To be totally honest about this matter, I will not be satisfied until I see at least one riot at a McCain-Palin 21st century, KKK rally they hold in all of their presidental campaign.

I say this only because some times, no too many times, when you try to walk away from a fight/violence it gives the (wrong)impression you are weak. When the leader is beaten up first it always slows down the rest of the pack!

But, then I know that for me to want something like this to happen it will effect Obama in a major negative waytherefore this is just wishful thinking on my part. I can wait until he is in the White House and Bush and Palin have had their impeachment hearing.(smile)

clarence, please rest assured that there will be more non Black/dark skinned people casting their vote for not just obama but for any Democrat on the ballot so that someone can stand between Obama and the Republican party.there sure will not be any Conservative mass media to help come against the obama administration for the next 8 years. Peace and Lov my brother.

You are correct in this but isn't ironic that with what is ahead of us it could very well be that it is going to hurt those who have the major big business that will be in the most trouble. for example.A clothing chain called Mervyns just went bankrupt all over California. The chain Target brought out the Mervyn chain. the Target store remodeled it's store larger and bigger and now no more Mervyns. Get the idea?

What I am trying to get at is the biggest dog has eaten the smaller dog, and most of the banks. I doubt if the government knows who all owns what bank in This country or which media out let, etc. How long can these blame games from congress to lobby to who ever did what is going to be able to be passed on?

As Chris Rock said, "if anyone knows poor it is the Blacks". We shall survive,as problems are what brings us closer together as a people. It will be good for the preacher to accept a home made meal not at a 3 star . for us to drink hot lemon tea for a cold and not that doctor's visit we can not afford. /we need to return back shop at our local Black family owned corner store, etc. go back to the family where time when someone is always there and stop the welfare system kicking out this teens pregnant must move out of the family home(in exchange for medical care) while they are just children to raise children. All of this is good for us to go back to our roots of how to survive!!!

Now, I wll get off of my "old folk" band wagon about the good old days(smile)
