If you are a working journalist and would like to step away from deadlines and enrich your understanding of various topics, you may want to consider the 2009 Harvard University Fellowships in Journalism, Arts and Culture. The Nieman Foundation is providing12-mid-career journalists the opportunity to study at Harvard for an academic year.
Fellowship winners will receive a stipend of $60,000 as well as additional housing, childcare and health insurance allowances. Full time and freelance journalists working in all media including print, broadcast, photography, film and the Internet are eligible to apply.
