I CRY!

I cry
For all who are in pain
For those who hurt
And suffer

I cry
For those who can
And those who can't
And those who try and fail

I cry
But my tears are wroght
With salt that burns
Yet purifies and cleanses

I cry
Though my tears
Don't wash away
The filth of the sins we share

I cry
And release all
My heart contains
Never to feel that tear again

Once it leaves the cleft of my chin
And falls to the ground
Or my shirt sleeve
Or box of tissues

I cry
And can't find a shoulder
To lean on or
A listening ear to hear

What pain I feel
For all who hurt
By those dead and burried
In years past and present

I cry
I weep and cannot be comforted
Because the salt of my tears
Burns the wounds that won't heal

I cry
Then I realize
I have to release the pressure
Placed on my heart

So that my heart can beat
Stronger, longer
And beat with love
