My thoughts so far on this website....
First off I want to thank everyone that has responded to my past blogs. Since I have joined this site and started blogs I have been highly impressed with the overall interaction I have had thus far a special shout out to the following:
Dr. Ahmed Glover
Dee Gray
Etana Busara
Collette Mitchell-Ruff
These people here are some knowledgeable personable very down to earth people! They are beaming examples of what African American's should be or strive to be!
I first came on here not knowing what to expect, however I have recently ended a long relationship and I placed my thoughts out on a couple blogs and recieved thoughts and points I was unable to see for myself so to you all I thank you. I have since deleted those blogs because they are reminders of something that wasn't wholesome and as a poster had said it had become a very one sided relationship and was an 80/20 deal I was the one giving the one trying to assist in any way I could, only to be told "I don't help her life" Well at that point I lashed out like a immature child and there is no way I can even make any explanation other than I should have paid closer attention so this is another lesson learned. Now I look to learn from my fellow African Americans, I am here to embrace, to interject and to hopefully find a small close knit set of people with the same core values as I. So again I just want to thanks to you all and this site and I hope to hear back thoughts, opinions and observations regarding the plight of the African American living in today's America!
Peace and Love.....
