So Heaven is a Planet?

Posted By: Curly Morris on August 18, 2008 I've been away the past couple of days but eventually I did garner some responses from some true believers on the matter of what happens upon arrival in Heaven. Just to let you know, this was not a line of questioning that I originated. I have included a link to a Yahoo discussion o the same matter if any of you would like to follow that thread. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qi... Many of the answers I received were indeed speculative, which in my opinion is really ducking the question. I can give you all types of metaphysical answers concerning the existence of God, angels, demons, Heaven, hell, etc. But because death is an actual tangible and physical occurrence, then whatever belief i may have will eventually be validated (or invalidated) when I take my final breath because there will be no pretty words to describe what comes next it either will or will not be what I think it is. The opinions of most believers is that Heaven is indeed a physical place: Luke 16:19-31 and one responder went even further to to suggests they beleived that Heaven was indeed a 'great city'. So if Heaven does in fact exist on a physical realm, then what are the rules and laws of science? What I mean by that is here on Earth we live on a physical realm. we walk on GROUND, we breath OXYGEN, which is manufactured by our interaction with TREES, we are required to eat and digest FOOD which in turn exits our bodies as WASTE. We wear CLOTHES which we purchase at STORES, we drive CARS and fly in AIRPLANES to allow us to move from one area to another. SPACE is of a premium because there are over 6 billion of us here on this planet and obviously we can't all be in the same place at one time. Our Bodies as well as the planet are primarily made of WATER as well. So in this city (or planet) of Heaven: Are we still wearing clothes or are we all ****? If we are wearing clothes, where did they come from and do we change them? Do you stay the same age you were when you died? What about the people who die as infants? Are they allowed to grow into adulthood? Might Heaven be a little crowded by now, with all the thousands of years of death? Since we are obviously recognizable in human form, do we still need to breath? Eat? Excrete bodily functions? Are people still required to have jobs? When you arrive after death, is that it? Do you just stay there forever? (keep in mind forever is like a REALLY long time). Do you get to try Earth again? Is it just one test for all of us and then you walk around Heaven for eternity. Practical questions considering the only thing we are all certain of is death. Of course if I had the answers to these questions I probably be considered God, or at least some lineage of God. But since I have no idea what the answers to these questions are, would'nt it be a little irresponsible of me to feed my children information that I really have no knowledge of.
