A Memphis man is behind bars facing first degree murder after shaking a 6 month old infant to death. The man said in his statement that he was trying to wake the baby for a diaper change, but could not wake the baby and began shaking the baby at least three times. The man was babysitting the infant and delivered CPR before calling emergency help, however the baby died from brain trauma leaving the man with facing murder charges. Family and friends who know him said this must have been accidential death since he has no history of commiting child abuse. If he is allegedly charged he may face the death penalty. He has been scheduled back in court to follow up his pending trial. The man is a father of two children.

A young Memphis couple has been indicted in the death of their one- year old last summer. The mother has a duo charge of child abuse and murder when she assaulted the child with an object that caused his death of head trauma. When taken to the Lebonheur Children Medical Center the child perished. The husband, and father has also been indicted of first degree murder in failing to report his wife's abuse of their son. Local news sources state that the mother became irrate at the child's behavior and lost her temper hitting the child and causing a deadly injury. The couple both indicted in their son's murder were charged and are awaiting sentencing. The woman is 22 and the man 24 years of age.

A well known Memphis lawyer will be facing a judge had to find a lawer to represent him. From popular Memphis business family, Michael Montesi was charged with causing an accident on December 10, 2011 in which he was sited of DUI and summoned to a court appearance on Monday. Hiring another lawyer to represent his case; Montesi decided it was best he'd find representation other than doing his own. Montesi is a member of a local Memphis law firm called Gatti, Ketler and Montesi which deals with civil law and injury cases, but now find he's could lose in a criminal case.
"Du...uh! Who would of thought...a case of lawyer found with a liquor bottle."

A local Dyer County missing mother body's was found on Wednesday, December 13, 2011 after being a missing person since October 28, 2011. The missing mom's car turned up found, but she never returned home or made any contact with her family. After weeks searching for her the woman's body turned up not far from where her car was left abandoned with a flat tire. The woman decaying body was found by a cemetary caretaker who called police. She was positively identified as the same missing mother. Police suspected her death was a homocide and are making some conclusions that may lead to her killer. Little evidence has been given as to her cause of death pending release of any infomation to her family after completion of her autopsy.
I think I've found enough words of loss..
