A new study released from Menopause an on-line magazine involving research of 60, 027 women who were experiencing "early stages or late stages of menopause" indicated that women going the symptoms of hot flashes were less likely to have heart attacks. The study concluded that early menopause of women faced smaller risks of having an heart attack than those who were late sufferers of having "hot flashes. " This study was conducted by Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital over a period of 10 years. In brief, the study also concluded that diet, exercise still play a major role of all women heart health and that family history of heart disease were also key factors in the study. About 2.5 percent of women with early symptons had heart attacks, compared with 3.4% of non symptoms and and increased 5.5% of late symptoms the report indicated. In addition, 6 percent died in the early and 11 percent of the late group died.

And ...women having hot flashes...well the sooner you have them, the better is what the research concluded. Heart attack is noted as the number one killer of women.

"Here's a fan of sentiments for those going through the change."

I wonder why we even need to have them (hot flashes) in the first place!

Hmmm? I don't know exactly....but I think is has to do with having hormone changes in our bodies. A woman body changes with aging and since she will no long be having the need in reproduction of children it's makes adjustments to stop your menstral cycle. All part of menopause. Those internal changes makes some women have "hot flashes" I believe that's close to what happens to women. Some women suffer from changes differently and hot flashes vary from woman to woman..
