Greetings to BIA,
One of the elements of being civilized is to be able to talk to each other in good faith. To be uncivilized does not necessarily mean walking around naked with a bone in your nose or a plate in your bottom lip as the Africans did.
Black Americans are uncivilized people based upon this one element of not being able to talk to each other in good faith in these modern days.
For instance, when the Caucasian people by their own intelligence left the continent of Europe and discovered the continents of Africa, North America, Central America and South America the Europeans referred to the indigenous people as savages and uncivilized. They discovered that the Africans fought and killed each other for thousands of years as the Indians fought and killed each other for thousands of years as well. In addition, it was noticed that these natives had not improved their intelligence and the quality of living for thousands of years as well and that is why the Europeans referred to them as savages.
Today, Black Americans are just as uncivilized and savage since we can not decide who and what we are. Some of us say we are African Americans, Colored People and Negroes Americans. Furthermore, we cannot talk to each other in good faith and without being able to talk to each other in good faith it is not possible we can personally advance. Before we can move forward we need to know who we are. Am I right?
So, can we put a stop to our savagery and un-civility? We practice savagery among ourselves right here on BIA when we delete each other. Deleting each other means we have no regard for each other. We are so ignorant that we do not realize that communicating with each other in good faith is exchanging ideas. Exchanging ideas is the highest level of civility and the only means of progressing. Am I making any sense?
