MY BIRTH MOTHER WAS 17 WHEN I WAS BORN AND I WAS TEN WHEN SHE WAS KILLED ON LABOR DAY COMING FROM THE BEACH...HE DYING BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT ALLOWED TREATMENT IN AN ALL WHITE HOSPITAL HAS MADE ME BE ABLE TO ACCEPT HUMAN BEINGS AS INDIVIDUALS, BEGINING WITH THE MAN DRIVING THE CAR WOULD NEVER HAVE DONE HER ANY HARM. AND, ACCEPTING THAT WAS THE SOCIAL NORM... HER NOT BEING ABLE TO GET EMERGANCY TREATMENT.(SMILE)
