Monte J. Childrey
The Childrey Deliverance Foundation President/CEO/Founder Biography Monte serves as President/CEO/Founder at The Childrey Deliverance Foundation and is located in Detroit, MI. Prior to joining The Childrey Deliverance Foundation, Monte served as Patient Care Technician at Detroit Medical Center. Before arriving at Detroit Medical Center, Monte served as Patient Care Technician at Henry Ford Hospital. At present, Monte is a member of NAACP. Monte attended Wayne State University where he studied Allied Health/Physical Therapy. He also attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College where he studied Allied Health/Physical Therapy and earned a Associates degree in 1998. Monte's core expertise includes Mission Statement: The Childrey Deliverance Foundation and a Non-Profit Organization formed to teach future homeowners about credit and help existing homeowners avoid foreclosure! We are dedicated to the acquisition and rehabilitation of dilapidated residential (HUD) homes within the City of Detroit and fighting rising costs of Homeowners Insurance Premiums and Excessive Property Taxation! We intend to use funds generated through fund raising to teach future homeowners about credit and help existing homeowners avoid foreclosure! We intend to give grant money to Detroit Residents who are qualified to receive a mortgage and are willing to fix up a dilapidated (HUD) home within the borders of the City of Detroit! It's the idea that ownership brings wealth! Our organization has counseled more than 10 youths in our community on the importance of graduating from high school and continuing their education through collegiate efforts. We have successfully graduated several participants in our program! Through our job placement program we have helped customers receive interviews and several of these individuals received employment. Through our job placement program we intend to continue to counsel our clients on economic issues (Credit Counseling 101) in an effort to help our clients receive FHA 203K home mortgages! Our organization has counseled more than 10 youths in our community on the importance of sexual responsibility! We are trying to reduce the number of teenage pregnancies in our community and instill an understanding of parenthood in our youths. In his personal time, Monte enjoys helping economically disadvantaged citizens of America obtain the Great American Dream of Homeownership!
