What are the myths of attending a Historical Black Colleges and Universities?

License Notary for the State of California. Register travel agent.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Life Accomphlishments: Navy retirement. I received a personal letter from Senator Obama about my retirement. Business Owner. Professional Aspirations: I'm pursing my MBA and this coming fall I will be sitting for the Certified Internal Auditor exam.

Most Memorable Moment:
How proud my grandmother and parents were when I obtained my diploma. I was the first female in my family to receive a college degree.
High School: Thorntonship High in Harvey, IL class of 1974
 
Activities & Accomplishments:
Basketball and track letter woman. Proficient flute player. Dean lists (two years). Student Government
Best Memories:
In my senior year, I was voted as one of the best female basketball player in the state of Illinois.

I have 25 years of experience working in the Accounting/Auditing industry.

Why Are You Concerned About Black America:
The future of Black Americans as being part of the American experience in a positive light. Since 1978, I see few black accountants in corporate america. Those who were born in American are not pursing a college degree. Why? I believe a college degree is the ticket out of poverty.
