Where do you go to find comfort and strength in times of struggle and pain?
"I go to my bible and seek wise counsel and words from God. I rarely spend too much time in struggle and pain. Miraculously when one door closes...3 doors seem to OPEN widely and I JUMP!"

How do you put your self self in god
"I try to put GOD in ME through taking in daily scripture and seeking ways to apply HIS WORD. I do this by interacting with a wide variety of people and placing myself in a wide variety of opportunities."

What is your contribution in Shifting the paradigm of dysfunction in the African American community
"Excellent question. My contribution in shifting the paradigm of dysfunction will prayerfully be felt through my family's new clothing line and gifts, HBCUkidz.com, our informational networking resources, BlackParentConnect.com, our educational resource program, AchieversinTraining.com and ultimately my book soon to be published, CottonPickinPaycheck.com. I know that i have made a huge difference in my immediate family and my own children. My oldest daughter scored an almost perfect score last year on her kindergarten statewide NCLB exam! WE CAN DO THIS!"

If you were banned from the United States and you have to leave today, what country would you go to live in - and why?
"I would be in Seychelles in a heartbeat. My perception and impression (haven't been YET) is that it is GEORGEOUS, very pristine, beautiful people, African culture and a hard target for bombing-LOL. While I was spending time in South Africa I learned about it and VOWED to one day get there to see for myselft!"

I am a dedicated mompreneur working for the advancement of all of the wonderful members of the Class of 2028 who are all of the little munchkins currently running around.

My goal is to work with my family in designing an innovative line of clothing that they can all wear proudly and feel special each and every day.

I have written a book about our journey called, "Cotton Pickin' Paycheck-A 21st Century Journal of Escape from Slavery" www.CottonPickinPaycheck.com

If U had a choice to do your best or beat the rest, what would it be?
Current Whereabouts:
After graduation I joined Eli Lilly & Co. as an international financial analyst in Indianapolis and later went on to get my MBA in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Michigan. Currently, I am living and working in small town in Virginia. I am happily married to Thomas Gosier (aka Go-Go HU '89) and mother of two toddler girls. I absolutely love children and real estate. I am a specialist in community redevelopment, affordable housing and urban renewal. You're so right! It's hard to find people with like mindedness, but thank God our paths have crossed. I should have been a teacher, but I ended up becoming a nurse. How long have you been teaching? I've been in the health care field for about 18 years (4 as a nsg aid and the rest as a RN).
