What have you learned and how have you benefited from online networking?
"That there isn't a better way to meet people and share important information to the masses. Commentary 4:1-7 Elisha's miracles were acts of real charity: Christ's were so; not only great wonders, but great favours to those for whom they were wrought. God magnifies his goodness with his power. Elisha readily received a poor widow's complaint. Those that leave their families under a load of debt, know not what trouble they cause. It is the duty of all who profess to follow the Lord, while they trust to God for daily bread, not to tempt him by carelessness or extravagance, nor to contract debts; for nothing tends more to bring reproach upon the gospel, or distresses their families more when they are gone. Elisha put the widow in a way to pay her debt, and to maintain herself and her family. This was done by miracle, but so as to show what is the best method to assist those who are in distress, which is, to help them to improve by their own industry what little they have. The oil, sent by miracle, continued flowing as long as she had empty vessels to receive it. We are never straitened in God, or in the riches of his grace; all our straitness is in ourselves. It is our faith that fails, not his promise. He gives more than we ask: were there more vessels, there is enough in God to fill them; enough for all, enough for each; and the Redeemer's all-sufficiency will only be stayed from the supplying the wants of sinners and saving their souls, when no more apply to him for salvation. The widow must pay her debt with the money she received for her oil. Though her creditors were too hard with her, yet they must be paid, even before she made any provision for her children. It is one of the main laws of the Christian religion, that we pay every just debt, and give every one his own, though we leave ever so little for ourselves; and this, not of constraint, but for conscience' sake. Those who bear an honest mind, cannot with pleasure eat their daily bread, unless it be their own bread. She and her children must live upon the rest; that is, upon the money received for the oil, with which they must put themselves into a way to get an honest livelihood. We can now expect miracles, and yet we may expect mercies, if we wait on God, and seek to him. Let widows in particular depend upon him. He that has all hearts in his hand, can, without a miracle, send as effectual a supply. Do you know and understand your life purpose?
"Hi Frederick, it has taken a life time to this point but I've got it. I first tried to do what ever one else wanted me to do. The confusing thing is, I am good a what ever I put my mind to do, yet I learned that that is not necessarily my calling. I am a people person. Net working is my game. Building character, and watching it develop. One of the ways you can determine your purpose is by asking this question which you probably already know. "If time and money were not an issue, what would you do? where would you go? Thanks for joining The Networkers, Esther"

Who is she? Queen Esther is a woman who leads by preparing and has the heart of a teacher.
The minute she gains a skill, she wants to give it away by training someone else.
She may be very accomplished in her field, but her real delight is training and equipping others.
She never minds when her pupils pass her on the professional ladder. In fact, she expects it and rejoices in it.
She gets lost in studying. She loves the library, books, research, outlining, lesson prep, and often loses track of time when she is immersed in study or prep work.
She loves to teach the same consistent group of students for a specific length of time, because growth in her students is her greatest reward.
She doesn't mind speaking, but she does it for the purpose of equipping others with the necessary skills, rather than teaching just because she can't keep quiet.
Her method is her message. She wants others to have the "how-to's" of life. Mentoring and discipleship are natural for her.
Mentors are: Pricilla who along with her husband took Apollos aside to tutor him in theology because he hadn't received a complete education in the scriptures. (see Acts 18:24-28). She better equipped Apollos for his preaching ministry.
Dr.Mike Murdock author, song writer and founder of The Wisdom Center in Fort Worth, TX; Pam Farrell, author of Woman of Influence; Dale Calvert, author, trainer, motivational speaker; Les Brown, motivational speaker just to name a few.

My BlackInAmerica.com Profile
Why Are You Concerned About Black America:
I am concerned about Black America because I believe Blacks are reactive instead of proactive when it come to issues like Wealth, Health, Identity Theft, and etc. Blacks have a way of ignoring issues as if that will make them disappear and this must change. We must realize that the old saying; "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is for today as well. I'm concerned about Black About Black America because I hear our youth speak and I don't hear Christian values and it makes me nervous because they are our future voters, politicians, leaders, teachers, presidents and etc. Yes, something has to change in order for us to survive and Blacks are survivors.

Hey Ester, I share some of your concerns about the Black community and I have concerns about the impact of racism on the Black community and though I don't use that as an excuse I think the two are intertwined...I am not very good at keeping up with these posts but let's at least share some thoughts with each other.
