| Why Are You Concerned About Black America: |
| I am a citizen of america, and I love black america despite the fact that I have spent many years in it's correctional institutions. I have watched the politics and rhetoric towards blacks in america with such interest that i have been disheartened to discern it's subtle discriminatory manifestations. in the laws and bylaws directed towards blacks.... Black men in particular. Disheartening, are the blacks in america that are in the corporate world and in position of power and authority, and having had to literally jump through the fire, to maintain thier positions and employment they allows this form of behavior to exisit unchallenged oftentimes distancing themselves from the struggle of equality in black america...particularly towards the black male that are the byproduct of a racist system that was very much our past and still very much our our present. We can see this in the campaign to elect a Black man for President? But more importantly, we can see this in any program that is specific to the concerns of the black males in america and the blackman around the world...I have seen racism at it's best and with such subtle creativity, that the average Joe would'nt even see it......But I have and i've experienced and lived with it intimately. Racism at it's best is subtle and crafty and only those that have experienced it can see it when it raises it UGLY HEAD!!!!! I just Thank my GOD that it has not deterred me from being a gentleman towards all peoples of all races and religions and social standings,The bottomline for me is that I am not a member of the corporate world, nor a perfect citizen of this beautiful country...I'm a byproduct of another world.... The oppressed system that was designed to destroy black men like myself. If only my parents could talk. My parents were both Hearing Impaired...and many of my aunts and uncles, So the world I came from was a world of literal silence, as a child of deaf adult parents. And as young black man, it took me many years of incarceration trials and tribulations...to FORGIVE, heal...lick my wounds and grow up......that's why I'm a concerned black american..... I have experienced the hell holes of america, it's dungons, it's prisons, and institutions, and yet I still stand strong firm and determined to make this world a better place for myself and those that are similarly situated. I pray that this site is the pandora's box towards progressive change for all AMERICANS and particularly the black men.
