What are your interests and how do they help the community?
"My strongest interest is genealogy. Knowing who you are and where you are from offers a connection in certain communities. Where I grew up, most of the neighbors were related to my family (and I grew up in a small suburb in CA) amazing!" Interviewed by Fayton Washington 08/11/08

Do you believe in yourself?
"I have a very strong sense of self, but do not let it be the determining factor in my life; I have found that a lot of compassion and empathy should go with the belief in oneself. " Interviewed by Asantewaa Holmes 08/11/08

Can you help find funding to Empower African American communities.
"I am always researching something. I believe there is an entire wealth of funding and information available. Our quest/desire to tap into this funding for the Empowerment of African American Communities should be the number one priority in establishing better communities. Why Are You Concerned About Black America:

I am concerned with our youths. I am the mother of 3 daughters and it is getting more and more difficult to find African American males who have a positive image.

	Thanks for your in depth comment. I enjoyed reading it. Your emotional aknowledgement demonstrats the deeply rooted connection and trauma of our past. You are a glowing example of who we 'really are and should strive to be. Nothing less than brilliant despite our horrific past! Because of it, we should only want the best for ourselves and our people. The disappointment is seeing the break in the link-------father figures not present in our everyday lives, mother's and father's strung out on drugs------home training----GONE!-----black children not wanting to be BLACK!
