It's sad, really, the majority of the blind who'll follow without questions. Disgraced pastor Earl Paulk, who led a megachurch in the Atlanta area, died today. Man, if God is all-powerful and he planned the world, he sure screwed up. This guy even fathered his own NEPHEW! (That's him on the right ...) If you get comfort by believing, good because that's all you'll get out of it. Here are just a "few" of the many disgraced "men of God" (all in the name of "the invisible man who lives in the sky and needs your tithes and offerings to feed the hungry): Jim Jones Aimee Semple McPherson Lonnie Frisbee Billy James Hargis Oral Roberts Jim & Tammy Bakker Jimmy Swaggart Peter Popoff Mike Warnke Robert Tilton Frank Houston John Paulk Paul Crouch Douglas Goodman Kent Hovind Ted Haggard Paul Barnes Lonnie Latham Richard Roberts Bishop Earl Paulk Coy Privette Phil Driscoll Joe Barron Todd Bentley Tony Alamo

"The invisible man in the sky", as you call him has been, now has kept me. He has been there for me every step of my life, through pain physical and emotionally. He have given me mercy when I needed it He, is real in my life. As for the men mention above, they were flesh and blood the same as all humankind. They are and wee mere men.

I won't say much to this, except you can always tell who doesn't believe in God. Only a person who doesn't have a personal relationship with Him would come to the conclusion that He's the "invisible man in the sky". I'm praying for you, my brother. I pray that He would soften your heart. It is sad that this man died after completely mismanaging his role in Kingdom building. It's a shame that he died having completely mispresented what it means to be a Christian. May God have mercy on his soul. And that's all I'll say. I won't go through the repeated effort of compelling the blind man to WANT to see. That seed was planted long ago. And I see there is still no cultivation. In God's own due time, I'm sure. Blessings...

Mr. Maxwell, you surmised this perfectly just with this statement: "The point here being “sin” is not reflective of God but of man. God gave free will, and that which men do is of Man and not God. God loves us all and wants us to come unto Him, however it is our choice." Thanks for chiming in here. I just pray, plant seeds and keep it pushing. ;-) Blessings...

Oh, by the way one of those people you mentioned is the one who gave Bishop T.D. Jakes his 'earthly' powers so where does he fit or is this only about famous/infamousWhite men/Bishops/megachurches and private jet planes owners?

And, just where does, LAND OF THE FREE(DOMS OF RELIGIONS), INDIVIDUAL CHOICES,THOUGHT, and so forth fit into any of this as the only way to be able to get to Heaven / be with God is to die. After all most of those who say they have met God in life are seen as...and, I have yet to meet anyone ready to die to get there... Me, I was not born in sin, live in sin not accept that I am not a worthy person in all aspects of the word...self worth when I do not define myself as a SINNER.What is 'sin' any way as it changes with the individual's out look, religious beliefs, cultures, time and space, politics, geography, race, social status. political party on the issue ?

HOw can a person say you have free will and yet condem you for using yourown freedom of speech/choice as doing something against God in the same sentence? Which always leads this subject in the circle it always in up in or as logic says, "Begging the question". How many versions of the Bible are there and are you trying to say that the Preist and the Rev. and the Rabi are saying the same exact thing to their members during the service? If so then this would make them a what?A machine? Then why do they not just combine into one church/belief system like divorce, abortion, etc or even political partys and cut out the middle man? And until you find that you can stop speaking for 'ALL' as an exact and not a personal belief then just leave me out, because if you do not then you are calling me a lie and unable to make a clear judgment of my own self therefore you will do it for me.Even put a value on me, too much like slavery for me to be able to accept!!!! This is disrespectful and a moral SIN???HOw is this in tune of the point you were making in your Bible verse? At any rate, I still will hold myself responsible for the causes I make in this life time and will not blame God if I like not the results from demanding everyone have the same Constitutional and God given rights to do the same. And I will demand this if I disagree with them on any, everything they CHOOSE to say or do to make their lives happy.

HI Dee, as you know me and how I come up with questions when I want to fully understand something....This man has will but at the same time when we feel helpless/can not explain or accept something that happens to us, we do, etc. we say, "it is God's will", "God willing"? Is this a way to just give up trying or a way of not holding ourselves responsible? Much like my original comment question which I saw as relating to Man's free will.
