I have a dream for black americans:

Craig Amos · Saturday, May 16th 2009 at 1:41PM · 525 views
That someday people can't tell one is Black by the way one talks; that Blacks are comfortable with our West African attributes (ie, no color complex); that Black men don't have to act like a thug to be considered a man; that a college degree is the norm for Blacks; and it's unusual for Blacks to have a family member in jail.

In large numbers it's not this way right now but with your help it can happen. Since the days of Michael King [aka Martin Luther King] our race as a whole hasn't progressed one bit.

Craig, you are so cute. I mean this in a positive way for example. you know how comedians come up with just plain old common sense things that we pay no attention to until they talk about it? The things you come up with is a lot like this.We tend to laugh and not be angry at it when they put it the way they dowhich after all is just every day common sense things being shared with us from you. well any way , this is how i look at so many of the things you come up with.

Craig you are 1000% correct in what you just said in this blog. The sad thing is we have always done this sort of thing and will continue to do so until we start saying we are the protectors of the coming generations (like my children's childrens who began with my body)therefore I must take it upon my own self to make (this earth)where I am safe and secure and happy.

And, something even more important at least to me is the knowledge that my race, nor my culture , nor my self worth nor my goals in life began with Dr. King nor did it end with Dr. King...

"WORD UP " Mozell.Your comment just then reminded me of how I crack up when I see Skin heads trying to act, dress, talk, walk Black.

And, they call us stupid when they have no idea they have no identity or any ability to be creative then turn right around and try to use what we are against us..go figure.

I guess this is why I can not hate these types of peoples, as I am so busy feeling sorry for them when I allow them to take up space in my brain that is(smile)
